Collection: Ontario Bass Fishing Lures

Ontario Bass Fishing Lures — Built for Canada's Best Bass Waters

Ontario is home to some of the finest bass fishing in North America. From the weed-choked bays of Lake Simcoe to the rocky shorelines of the Kawartha Lakes, Georgian Bay, and the St. Lawrence River, largemouth and smallmouth bass thrive across the province. At Stickylures, we design and hand-craft lures specifically for the conditions Ontario bass anglers face — fast-moving current, heavy cover, clear Canadian Shield lakes, and murky river systems alike.

Largemouth Bass in Ontario

Largemouth bass are found throughout southern Ontario, with hotspots including Lake St. Clair, the Rideau Lakes, Lake Simcoe, and the Trent-Severn Waterway. These fish love structure — docks, weed edges, and submerged timber. Our casting spoons and weighted rigs are designed to work through these zones with minimal snag and maximum action.

Smallmouth Bass on Canadian Shield Lakes

Smallmouth bass are arguably Ontario's most exciting sport fish. Found in clear, rocky lakes across the Canadian Shield — Muskoka, Haliburton, Algonquin, and beyond — smallmouth hit hard and fight harder. Our lures are sized and weighted to match the baitfish profiles smallmouth key in on during the spring and summer seasons.

Seasonal Tips for Ontario Bass Anglers

Spring (May–June): Bass move shallow to spawn. Target rocky points and gravel flats with slower presentations. Summer (July–August): Fish move to deeper structure mid-day; work weed edges and drop-offs at dawn and dusk. Fall (September–October): Bass feed aggressively before winter — faster retrieves and larger profiles work well.
